Conference Overview
We’ll gather to share the latest in soil science, build practical skills, and create connections for real-world collaboration. The Summit will provide educational sessions, a keynote speaker, and networking opportunities so that attendees leave inspired to build healthy soils!

This event is for Oregon’s farmers and ranchers, technical assistance providers, and farmer educators interested in soil health, climate resilience, and connection.
Summit Keynote Presenters
Michelle Week
Michelle is a first generation farmer at Xast Sqit (Good Rain) Farm, located in the Northern Willamette Valley, near the Portland Metro area. Taking teachings from her Indigenous culture and upbringing, she embraces creativity, compromise, and innovation in her approach to soil health and farm management. Seeking to balance farm viability with reverence and respect for the soil guides her land stewardship.
Jen Aron
Jen Aron is a farmer, educator, and agroecology consultant with more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of agriculture and education, including seven years with OSU Extension. In 2015, she founded Blue Raven Farm, a 1.5-acre working farm centered on building soil health and strengthening whole-farm resilience. Her work is grounded in systems thinking and a belief that healthy farms begin with healthy soil.
Jen is driven by continual learning (and unlearning!) as she studies and teaches the complex relationships relating to soil microbiology, agronomy, and crop resilience. She is passionate about helping farmers translate ecological principles into practical, field-ready management.

The LaSells Stewart Center is located on the campus of Oregon State University, proudly at 875 SW 26th St, Corvallis, OR 97331.

Guest drop off is available at the loading zone in front of The LaSells Stewart Center.
