Improving Information and Tools, to Support Place-Based Technical Assistance
With over 35,000 farms across the state, the best strategy to reach producers is to work with Oregon’s trusted farm service providers– including local districts, community-based organizations, and peer-support networks, and farmer “influencers.”
Because every farm has different needs, we see a need for Oregon’s farm service provider community to provide a holistic suite of support services, from financial incentives to a variety of educational opportunities.
When producers have access to adequate technical & financial resources and a network of supportive peers, they are more likely to successfully implement land management practices that result in healthy soils and a thriving regenerative agricultural economy.
We work to create learning opportunities for producers and build the capacity of farm service providers in Oregon to ensure producers have the technical assistance they need. Check out our educational programs and opportunities for both farm service providers and producers below:
